Our promise to you
Bury Council is required by law to provide you, its young people, with things to do that will make life more enjoyable and improve how you feel about yourself.
For example, there should be activities offered, like sport, music and the arts, and friendly places to go to do them.
You should feel safe wherever you are, and when you are moving around the town.
You should also be able to have a say in what you'd like and to speak up about things you don't like!
There is a Bury Children and Young People's 'Charter', which is a statement or declaration, put together by Bury Young people, and it says what your expectations are from its local Council.
